Sun care
During warmer weather the school welcomes children in the summer school uniform. In addition to this the school would recommend
- children wear a named sun hat, which will shade their face and neck.
- cover exposed skin with a sunscreen cream, which will last all day. The NHS suggest such sun creams are effective against UVA and UVB and are of adequate protection factor.
- children drink water regularly. Children may bring in a named water bottle, which may be re filled during the day.
The school will encourage children to play in the shade and provide parasols for the play ground.
