Thomas Aquinus said that the habit of charity extends not only to the love of God, but also to the love of our neighbour. We are keen to support local charities and wider global charities also.

Some of our enterprising Year 5 students have been making bangles and wristbands to raise money for charity. Here we can see our craftspeople! The class are planning to vote on which charity should receive the money.


Recently many students have approached staff and asked if we can raise money for the animals in Australia who have suffered due to the bush fires and floods. Year 6 organised a cake sale on Friday 24th January to coincide with Australia Day, Year 5 sold drinks and we also had a mufti (dress down day).

Year 6 and 5 cakes and drinks raised £395

Whole school mufti day raised £387

Staff cycle the distance of Kangaroo island (155km) raised £357
