Letters to our local MP

Year 5 wrote letters to Mr Clive Efford, our local MP. These letters were inspired by the book ‘Here We Are’. They took the opportunity to have a look around our local area and develop ideas that would help protect our local green spaces. They wrote to Mr Efford with some recommendations and suggestions for our local area. They used information they had researched to help strengthen their letters and explained the benefit of their suggestions.

Remembering the life of Queen Elizabeth II

The whole school joined together to remember the life of Queen Elizabeth II. Each class wrote a prayer that was shared as part of our remembrance service. 

World War Two

As part of Year 6’s History topic on World War Two, they created posters to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Normandy Landings. They also led an assembly to share facts about what they had learnt.
